Live-In French-Speaking Nanny | Greenwich, CT

Start Date:   ASAP

Schedule : Full-Time, 5 Days/Week, Split Shift. The Nanny will generally have Wednesday off and Friday evening through Sunday morning off, with one full weekend off per month. Flexibility is important depending on the family’s schedule, along with flexibility for light travel.

About the Family

A warm, blended family in Greenwich is seeking an experienced, French-speaking Nanny to join their household, with the primary focus being the care and development of their sweet 1-year-old son. The family also has two children, ages 11 and 15, at home, as well as three older children, who live outside the home. There is an additional live-in Nanny/Housekeeper.

Responsibilities:

The Nanny’s primary focus will be the 1-year-old, including:

• Providing loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
• Speaking and engaging with him in French throughout the day
• Planning educational activities, outings, play, and age-appropriate learning
• Supporting developmental milestones and learning through play
• Managing daily routines, including meals, naps, activities, and bedtime
• Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks
• Keeping his spaces, toys, and belongings organized
• Assisting with light housekeeping, general household tidying, grocery shopping, errands, and light cooking as needed
• Providing occasional support to the older children, including homework assistance as needed
• Working collaboratively with the family’s other Nanny/Housekeeper
• Being proactive and willing to jump in wherever needed

The Ideal Candidate:

• Native-level French fluency required
• Strong professional nanny experience, particularly with infants and toddlers
• Warm, nurturing, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with young children
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and milestones
• Educational and creative, with a hands-on approach to learning and play
• Proactive, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Comfortable assisting with light household responsibilities
• Collaborative and comfortable working alongside other household staff
• Valid driver’s license and confident driver
• Valid passport and comfortable with domestic and international travel

Compensation:  $90,000–$120,000/year, depending on experience,   Private live-in accommodations provided,   Car provided for work-related driving
