Primary PYP English Teacher

Curriculum: IB PYP

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Primary PYP English Teacher to join a bilingual/international school in Jinshan, Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary English education and be committed to creating an engaging, student-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging English lessons within the IB PYP framework
Plan and implement age-appropriate, inquiry-based learning activities
Support students’ academic, language, and social development
Collaborate with homeroom teachers and other members of the teaching team
Participate in curriculum planning, assessment, and school activities
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above
Valid and formal teaching qualification/certificate
Around 2 years of relevant primary teaching experience
PYP / IB experience is highly preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about working with primary-aged students
Candidates who can start as soon as possible will be given priority
