This position is for a Personal Services Contract, not a full-time employee position. An individual signing a Personal Services Contract is not covered by the provisions of the Personnel Code 20 ILCS 415 et seq. The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking an experienced registered nurse to review, analyze, provide responses to grievances submitted by Individuals in Custody related to healthcare and to obtain and facilitate timely and thorough responses to healthcare grievances (including but not limited to mental health, medical, dental, medical records) from healthcare staff at the facility level. The selected candidate will assist with the backlog of healthcare grievances at the facility level and prevent the facility healthcare staff from getting further behind. The expected duration of this Personal Services Contract is 6 months. We invite all qualified candidates to apply.
